Awarded the 'Ordre des francophones d'Amérique'. (Order of francophone
speakers in America).

ADISQ Prize (Félix) for best children Album  (Le Bébé dragon).

1998
• 'Belle' the theme song from the musical Notre-Dame de Paris in which Daniel Lavoie participates  reaches 3 000 000 sales in  Europe.

Notre-Dame-de-Paris album reaches two and a half million sales in Europe and 500 000 in Quebec. The  integral recording of the musical sells 900 000 copies.

1999
• Victoires de la musique prize for the best musical show of the year with "Notre-Dame-de-Paris".

• Victoires de la musique prize for the best song of the year with "Belle".

 • "Belle" elected best song of the second half of the century  in a TV programme called  "50 years of musical hits". 

• World Music Awards of Monaco for "Belle".

• World Music Awards of Monaco for "Notre Dame de Paris".

• Socan prize for "Des milliards de choses" a song written for Luce Duffault.
