Although he spends a lot of time in London where he is playing
the part of Frollo in the English version of “Notre Dame de Paris”,
Daniel Lavoie goes back as often as he can to his own piece of land in
Estrie. “The land is my great passion”, he says. “Trees fascinate
me.”
A few years ago, the singer planted some 15 pine trees near his house.
Today he’s dreaming
of a line of poplars. He considers the most valued among his trees to be
a Ginko which he received as a present. “This tree, thought to be a holy tree
in the Far East has a fascinating history and has unique medical properties.”
